Seeking a larger space to cater to their growing team, Waterfall Asset Management selected 1251 Avenue of America’s, located in the heart of New York’s Midtown, for their new headquarters. Departing from the previous white prebuild palette often seen among asset management firms, Waterfall Asset Management wanted a design that represented the true nature of their brand with a custom look and feel.
A place to build relationships.
Being on the 50th floor, you are welcomed at reception with rich natural light and amazing views, guiding your journey throughout the space. Open trading areas and surrounding conference rooms feature an element of transparency and abundant line of sight. The new design allows for the alignment and organization of departments while building relationships between teams.
At the core of Waterfall’s new headquarters is the common café, incorporating a combination of banquette seating, private booths, and open conference tables. The space provides a casual environment to gather socially, host private meetings or break out for small group team meetings
A sophisticated palette.
The palette combines elements of warm hospitality and corporate sophistication, including French walnut paneling and exposed black ceilings, achieving a contemporary look and feel. Modern touches of greenery, juxtaposed with stone finishes, add a brush of natural elements throughout. The conference rooms, offices, and common amenity spaces were uniquely designed and staged with characteristic furniture pieces and curated lighting, offering both a contemporary and mature working environment.
