As you step off the elevator, the journey begins with the first "channel," a space where the analog meets the digital. A high-gloss black ceiling broadcasts the reflections of people below, juxtaposed with vibrant lights and a collage of moments from the life of a New Yorker.
The Shop.
On one side of the elevator lobby lies" The Shop," an homage to barbershop culture inspired by the award-winning series and community-connecting brand. A classic, thin-striped wood floor, tiles reminiscent of whitewashed brick, and wood and fluted glass millwork all nod to the bustling barbershops of the past. Here, employees can host conference calls for potential new clients or do a quick spot check in one of the full-length mirrors.
A speakeasy entrance.
On the opposite end, a discreet speakeasy-style entrance opens into an upscale boutique atmosphere. A sculptural, stainless-steel desk paired with walnut wood paneling and shelving encapsulates the company’s work and awards. It allows them to display memorabilia, in addition to a growing collection of new products. Even Lady Liberty herself can look into the space, as a continuous curtain wall looks directly onto the beautiful Hudson Harbor.
The court.
The office is divided into three distinct program blocks — The Court, The Apollo and The Executive Suite.
The Court pays homage to UNINTERRUPTED, the award-winning athlete storytelling brand, with sporty colors, rich leathers, and polished aluminum accents. The Court is designed to support TSHC’s daily activities from team meetings to virtual collaboration and podcast production. The glass fronts offer transparency and showcase the energy of the creative process.
Old Hollywood meets track and field.
The Town Hall and The Executive Suite make up the other two program blocks. Each is grounded in the SpringHill brand’s involvement in the entertainment industry. Town Hall is the heart of the space, meant to foster community and be used as a venue for company gatherings, screenings and team collaboration moments. The large, central light fixture casts a glow on the faces below, while rich woods, lush upholsteries, rubber floors, and baseboard lighting create an Old Hollywood meets track and field inner sanctum.
A space for the future.
Spectorgroup took the space from benchwarmer to all-star, with a strong concept and impeccable design that perfectly captures the company’s vibe. This office enables The SpringHill Company (TSHC) to keep pushing the culture forward in new and unexpected ways.
