Owned by real estate investment firm ZG Capital Partners, Park 53 is an early ‘90sbuilding just off of Manhattan’s Park Avenue. Spectorgroup drew inspiration from the prestige of the surrounding neighborhood to craft a sophisticated “uptown” design language for three floors of prebuilt office suites aimed at attracting financial firms seeking a hospitality-inspired workplace.
Framing the view.
Looking to make a large impact, Spectorgroup opened the previously segmented floor plate, offering companies the opportunity to lease a full-floor space. Offices are strategically positioned along the sides, preserving the building’s glass front for unobstructed views of Park Avenue and Central Park. Large interior columns have been modernized with reskinning and backlighting; a classic mid-century architectural trick that makes the columns seem to dissipate into the glass.
A timeless palette.
A light and serene palette, combined with warm wood floors, evokes a timeless, uptown New York ambiance. The interior design strikes a delicate balance, presenting a rich and intriguing palette to captivate potential tenants while allowing their own branding to shine.
