Inspired by the synergy created when varying industries and perspectives come together, Fortress Equity Partners create a coworking type of environment for four of their companies, New Fortress Energy, Baby + Co, TouchCare and Drive Shack. As four distinct and established companies, each brought their own needs and requirements to the design brief.
A loft building with sweeping views.
The resulting concept features an open office plan, well complimented by the industrial character of this early 1900’s loft building. Taking advantage of the architectural envelopment, the main design features work to accentuate the existing skylights, high ceilings and terraces.
We opened up the south side of the space by incorporating a large glass wall and sliding doors, complete with terrace access, brightening the office and further highlighting the views of Downtown Manhattan. Accent lighting and bright blue paint provide a pop of color and frame the skylight in the main boardroom.
