For its new Manhattan office, this confidential financial services firm chose space on the second floor of the iconic Lever House, overlooking Park Avenue. Guided by their core values of service, expertise and integrity, the firm chose this prime location to reflect their high-quality brand and commitment to excellence.
The seasonal changes of Park Avenue.
The design draws inspiration from the seasonal changes along Park Avenue, incorporating a warm neutral palette interwoven with delicate seasonal hues. Nature-inspired elements like rich walnut wood, vivid green quartzite stone, and luxurious leather add depth and texture to the space. Expansive views of the central atrium and Park Avenue invite abundant natural light, creating a seamless connection between indoors and outdoors. Subtle accents of the firm’s sophisticated green color is integrated throughout, reinforcing the brand’s identity.
Districts and city streets.
Departments are strategically organized into districts, which resemble city streets, providing a structured yet dynamic layout. Canopies define these blocks, offering visual separation while maintaining a cohesive flow. This planning approach ensures that each area is tailored to the specific needs of its department, incorporating a mix of private offices, huddle rooms, and flexible workstations to foster collaboration and efficiency.
Sustainability at the core.
Sustainability was a core consideration throughout the design process and selection of finishes. The acoustic wood ceiling guides visitors from the elevator along Park Avenue, bridging the two main walkways and adding a touch of warmth and sophistication. The result is a meticulously designed space that celebrates its prominent location on Park Avenue and its connection to Manhattan.
