The results of a comprehensive workplace strategy drove our design for the Manhattan headquarters of Citrin Cooperman, one of the nation’s largest professional services firms. A relocation to two full floors and a partial third floor at the famed Rockefeller Plaza provided the firm with an opportunity to design a workplace of the future to encourage growth and collaboration and serve as a recruitment and retention tool for years to come. The design became Citrin Cooperman’s national standard that is being implemented in multiple office locations across the country.
A hospitality lounge for the client experience.
With Citrin’s daily mission to enhance the businesses and personal lives of their clients through their services, an enhanced client experience was top of mind. On the main reception floor, a large video wall frames the entry to the client hospitality lounge that includes a full pantry, access to a variety of private meeting spaces, and views of daily office activities and business.
Integrated technology to support flexibility and work styles.
The workplace focused on flexible office solutions to support employees’ health and productivity, and the firm’s seasonality of services. Integrated plug-and-play technology, a centralized café, and a training/multi-purpose room, along with dedicated spaces to support a balance of collaborative and focused working styles. Exposed brick, geometric patterns, pops of color, and graphics highlighting Rockefeller Plaza create an energetic and unconventional palette for this full-service tax, assurance, and business advisory firm.
