TF Cornerstone | Carnegie Hall Tower Amenity

New York, NY

A seamless fusion of work, wellness, and social connection, redefining the amenity experience at Carnegie Hall Tower.

TF Cornerstone sought to create a market-leading amenity experience at Carnegie Hall Tower—one that would support workplace engagement and provide tenants with an elevated, flexible and hospitality-driven environment. The result is a dynamic, multi-functional space that blends productivity, wellness, and social connection. Flanked by terraces on either end, the design was inspired by the formal garden—where pathways carve through curated landscapes—the space unfolds as a series of destinations, each tailored to meet the evolving needs of tenants and visitors alike.

A Dynamic, Multi-Purpose Environment

Upon arrival, visitors can navigate their own journey, choosing from a suite of offerings designed for work, wellness, and social engagement. A central reception anchors the space, providing intuitive wayfinding and access to the flex-office suites or the conference center—two distinct yet connected zones.

The flexible lounge, complete with a fully equipped pantry, serves as both a daily retreat and an adaptable event space. The conferencing area, available for tenant bookings throughout the day, transitions effortlessly into an evening venue for larger gatherings. Movable islands, a warming kitchen, and a curved banquette enhance both function and flow, ensuring that the space evolves with its users.

Design Continuity & Materiality

The material palette and architectural language extend the aesthetic legacy of Carnegie Hall Tower. A linear wood ceiling element draws the eye through the co-working space, creating a visual thread that unifies the three zones. Fluted wood paneling at the reception extends seamlessly across the walls and ceiling, reinforcing a sense of movement and continuity.

Frosted glass doors mark the entry to the gym, balancing privacy with a soft diffusion of light. The co-working area—designed for emerging businesses and smaller firms—features private offices, phone booths, and adaptable workspaces, fostering a sense of community within an elegant, high-performance environment.

A Tribute to Music & Art

Given the tower’s location adjacent to the world-renowned Carnegie Hall, the space pays homage to its musical heritage. Artwork throughout the amenity floor echoes the rhythm and fluidity of music, creating an environment that is both inspiring and deeply connected to its cultural context.

By prioritizing flexibility, seamless transitions, and a design language rooted in movement and continuity, the Carnegie Hall Tower amenity space is an experience that elevates the everyday.
