At Aesop Rockefeller Center, Spectorgroup served as the Architect of Record, translating the brand’s refined design vision within one of New York City’s most iconic landmarks. Situated within the grandeur of Rockefeller Center, the store balances a sense of monumentality with the constraints of an intimate footprint. The design achieves both—small yet monumental—through rigorous spatial clarity and enhanced functionality.
Inspired by the Art Deco heritage of its surroundings, the space is defined by precise volumetric composition, where each form is intentional, clear, and meticulously arranged. Ornamentation, if present, is expressed through geometric precision rather than embellishment, reinforcing the refined simplicity of the design. In collaboration with Aesop’s design team, we meticulously refined every detail, creating a space that embodies both the timeless grandeur of Rockefeller Center and the brand’s signature restraint.
