At Aesop Hudson Yards, Spectorgroup served as the Architect of Record, translating the brand’s distinctive design vision within one of New York City’s most dynamic retail destinations. Inspired by the industrial legacy of Manhattan’s West Side, the store’s design reflects the monumental systems of movement that once defined the area and the rhythm of passage through massive urban volumes. Positioned along the Hudson River, the space also embraces the shifting beauty of light, capturing the golden hues that reflect off the water and skyline at dusk.
In close collaboration with Aesop’s design team, we meticulously executed every material and spatial detail, crafting a retail experience that seamlessly bridges the city’s past and present.
